National Loan Scholarship: Students of Undergraduate courses who have secured at least 50% of marks for Pre-degree/Higher Secondary examination are eligible.
University Merit Scholarship: Students who have 60% or more marks for the qualifying examination are offered this scholarship for the duration of a course. The amount is Rs 900/-per year for B. A./ B.Sc./B.Com course and Rs. 1200 for two years for M. A/ M.Sc/M.Com course. This scholarship cannot be availed with any other scholarship. No application is required. The parents have to execute with the University a bond agreeing to refund the scholarship received in case the scholar has discontinued before completing the course.
Kerala State Scholarship: Available to students during their first year of study in various courses, provided they have secured 50% marks or above in their qualifying examinations and the annual income of their parents does not exceed Rs. 3000/-. The scholarships are awarded on merit cum means subject to the number allotted each year. Application forms can be had from the Director of Collegiate Education, Trivandrum. The amount of the scholarship is Rs. 500/- per year for three years for B.A/B.Sc./B.Com courses. The Scholarship can be availed with any other scholarship. The scholar has to maintain 50% marks every year otherwise he/she will lose the Scholarship.
Unified Fee Concession: It is awarded on the basis of merit and means. The minimum 45% marks is required to apply for this concession. The concession is one half or the full amount of the tuition fee. Application forms can be had from the College Office. Renewal applications are to be sent every year of the course.
Educational Concessions to Students belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe and Backward Classes: Soon after the re-opening of the College, students belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other backward classes newly admitted as well as those continuing their studies in the 2nd year of the course have to apply for educational concessions including lumpsum grant, monthly stipend, tuition fees and examination fees in the prescribed form available from the College office. Students belonging to other backward classes will get concession only if the annual income of their parents is below Rs. 25000/- for UG Course and Rs. 40000/- for PG Course. They have to attach an income certificate from the Tahsildar along with their applications. Those who fail to apply for the concessions in time may lose their chance of getting concessions in which case they have to pay all the fees due to the College.
Post Graduate Indira Gandhi Scholorship for Single Girl Child: Any single girl child being the only child of her parents is eligible under the scheme. She should have taken admission in first semester Master`s degree programme
Post-Metric Scholarship for students belonging to Minority Communities: The scheme is to award scholorships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker section of minority community. Scholorship will be awarded to the students who have secured not less than 50% marks and equivalent grade in the previous final examinations and the annual income of whose parents/guardian from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2 lakh. 30% of scholorship will be earmarked for girl students.
